4 m, D' S" ~1 M* F  EOne night I had a dream& K6 Z+ ~1 I/ }
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.; l1 l, ^2 w5 k8 e( ]- W
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
) y* F1 W0 v3 E; h* WFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,, [* i5 J5 H3 C# a, z. F
one belonging to me
) ]* C; D5 c- k$ b; o/ fand the other to my Lord.
: ^  a& f0 e: x* y* Y# I: y0 AWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
- c, d4 u% ]& x8 t: F9 lI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
7 f/ ?% a/ h3 a2 VThere was only on set of footprints.  }' x% n. P0 U; W' l
I realized that this was at the lowest & C: j) U! l% z: g. V! N5 J- F$ m* K
and saddest times in my life.
4 x2 S4 s5 W  S0 xThis always bothered me # \; D% F, y2 S# [5 \$ I
and I questioned the Lord
# X$ s- T: S7 p9 wabout my dilemma.
8 D' K% c6 c# f* `"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,% |" c; A' U' ^9 e/ G
You would walk and talk with me all the way.0 l% D8 G% |5 k/ [+ J; y# T  w
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
- ?2 s  x; F7 b, c! stimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.0 f8 Y5 N. [4 d+ X$ m1 q6 }
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, $ t4 }0 \3 y: l- N5 \+ J6 z
you leave me."
7 t9 z8 U. c1 O! P6 s1 n2 B9 OHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,5 [1 ]- [. h* n) z1 l! e  N; F& R
I love you and will never leave you: o; Z8 x' M$ g9 x; N
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
