I was walking along the beach with my Lord.5 h5 o+ S! A4 Q0 I1 ]" e
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life., ]& _: T" O5 G
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
& f0 h3 H; z5 ~4 eone belonging to me# k. B6 U/ @0 j/ D
and the other to my Lord.; l, U) k3 s, x+ m1 @3 ~: t
When the last scene of my life shot before me3 u, z5 N& D  F, d
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
' i6 m2 _  S$ I/ HThere was only on set of footprints.
/ i+ R2 L1 M; p. i: _: e) m. K* oI realized that this was at the lowest
) L% l; q5 |& c4 d! {* _5 B+ o5 g9 Hand saddest times in my life.
* C. H) }6 R0 L$ r; P. MThis always bothered me
+ l  {8 o" ^$ Q2 g5 R+ l0 Aand I questioned the Lord
! h' Z/ h: H8 I9 d1 i- ?about my dilemma.& a8 f3 A2 C0 E9 i
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
' [1 g" _8 J- J8 CYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
7 T; q3 t6 O4 D- k+ ^. eBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
" ?2 z& F; w7 m! w3 t$ V8 m% j  _0 Ptimes of my life there is only one set of footprints." o: |: c5 ~7 d2 T1 J& f
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, " i3 D* z, Z# Z* t$ K
