Lord, 2 R( h1 ^- K6 e0 u1 u) W* J
having transformed* ? o# ~& s d7 v$ O- E
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
) |: L8 ^. }9 N. P' T6 Z0 s6 ^) ointo food upon which we are soon to feed, * E& Q8 {% t* P( M& u7 H' [
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, & a6 U! v7 N' Y& S/ F& e
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
. J# W+ ^) V6 vWe who came first and are ready to dine
o8 T# d; M3 q. U( b% B, Lthank you that we’re not still waiting in line, 9 I* I- z8 P0 h$ y9 A& F4 z
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, & y& c$ p2 d, Y5 s) z/ F
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
( V& m' r* F3 @, mInstead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
( `, b3 p2 Q+ @, I" O5 }# tthe way we were taught by our own loving mothers.7 _' ?: v! G: w4 [6 ]* w
