Lord,
0 f1 A2 ]7 R; R0 Y& O. b0 J0 bhaving transformed! P! @, D" j Q7 ^
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
7 h2 G9 g0 D P+ }: cinto food upon which we are soon to feed,
2 G/ O$ B [" ?$ b- lwe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
- n& T6 V) h; y: F" o- @& i& pso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
/ r: k; F s' Q+ `9 M( bWe who came first and are ready to dine
0 l) p) ?- X7 T( N0 Hthank you that we’re not still waiting in line, ! |) Q) y7 g3 h6 d8 Z; f
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
1 S8 @( z( {% h9 {; Ywe shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
1 }5 P1 `+ I) L; I) _6 MInstead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
* }3 }3 n! u5 n g# h/ [# F' \7 Ethe way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
