. e0 z% \8 {9 b9 R3 p/ a  {. ?One night I had a dream2 O* I* I) w7 R$ L" D1 N
I was walking along the beach with my Lord." x4 F6 `: e6 |  G& a. c
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.# K6 |- v: ~/ m% Y2 B
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
( a5 Q! a! g* a' V% z! Jone belonging to me
6 @# l% j: J- Iand the other to my Lord.
* j1 |: u) d4 u1 w$ H5 RWhen the last scene of my life shot before me: p( t1 m+ N4 O/ }3 A% C( ~
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
! N: j+ T8 f( _3 tThere was only on set of footprints./ E: t; ~8 k9 x  q
I realized that this was at the lowest 2 h6 ?: |( @' G' M" Q
and saddest times in my life.
+ W( h1 Z9 p( G1 |* tThis always bothered me * D' y! Q$ X  t/ n9 `
and I questioned the Lord
! }5 a6 e. {9 q  ]about my dilemma.
) F4 U) i8 D- t# k; u* U"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
% z  q: I8 \( O) V2 m7 qYou would walk and talk with me all the way.$ H9 C1 ?1 b9 I) l1 |7 S
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
5 q7 l! M3 _- s# W, M+ I) ltimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
! l" j1 ]. {# aI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
* w0 T7 v) q* o7 ?3 U4 X' lyou leave me."
0 f5 \7 @, K# e. }/ WHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,) {6 X' E, `+ e' D7 W* l* x( t
I love you and will never leave you5 i" ]/ }, V9 p0 j
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
