. M& c' s/ I* V% U& |One night I had a dream# `; v7 X# p' N- ]
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
/ [& A+ E6 [2 ]2 l; X4 E# J$ \Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.: h7 r+ [1 J! c5 c+ n
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,8 @# z" y* H9 F9 F
one belonging to me6 v- P3 N' @  O! C3 E8 U
and the other to my Lord.
! y! i( w: d1 U  yWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
  W' a3 q+ s8 fI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
3 j2 J3 @+ A+ C1 @7 c/ n; TThere was only on set of footprints.
! ~$ f4 l1 \2 f9 D6 ^7 DI realized that this was at the lowest 8 Z4 ?( l6 E  Z( M
and saddest times in my life.7 j" q3 p$ p) h' ~: Q( Y8 G% W
This always bothered me
/ [2 l, m8 t+ oand I questioned the Lord
. [3 w& o$ b, L& W5 [$ a8 wabout my dilemma.
! f1 a; y6 _+ D& h1 a* H"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
% d- X3 V& Y$ P& F7 L( W4 EYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
6 i! C* _- e8 K, A7 nBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
, O* h5 N$ _' Ftimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
& D% `% }: i5 h5 x7 n! N2 y, ^5 BI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 8 K  b! R% L3 G$ M3 w
you leave me."5 ~9 O. g4 z# \. e' f1 \
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,3 C  D$ v* ~, ?
I love you and will never leave you
' C0 f2 s$ u7 O+ ~never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
