2 ]% l( B1 g8 X; z( [1 g3 SI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
9 X. \$ B8 K! u* v6 F& f0 a8 uAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
1 f0 N5 a; y" Q: z4 ^: J' jFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,( I, ~2 g  h6 F4 N( G! l
one belonging to me
# t: F1 f5 m' k% ]and the other to my Lord.
4 G* m. U, n# r0 `When the last scene of my life shot before me
! `& p) h" u0 L  A2 m3 EI looked back at the footprints in the sand.. v6 R" B; |5 \+ m/ \$ [
There was only on set of footprints., r2 e' r1 ]% ?4 a. r. Y. t; i
I realized that this was at the lowest
6 N+ q7 `2 b3 m# ~+ Oand saddest times in my life.
' D& ?- U! V, @, A8 @9 |6 P. BThis always bothered me
: T# Q3 B' e. E3 U1 band I questioned the Lord
& U) G' \: I. ?- c- E( pabout my dilemma.
4 o& W0 z9 t& y* A, N  \5 f"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,1 w& g& M5 e. d1 \  x9 t0 [
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
3 f% Z, Y! n& iBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
' V3 m+ c: M0 @$ xtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
5 S! C* m, k! d- LI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
