; W8 ?. ~* C, ^. ?/ h% q, n2 K' k3 HI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
" |2 Z3 l: @( X, e! lAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.4 a) ^- W  T: u3 Q( K! g
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,! b" M' c0 c; E9 L% }! b7 |
one belonging to me
' l7 W) _$ f( m5 S) [3 N; ]and the other to my Lord.
' Y! g% o( [, c3 _' eWhen the last scene of my life shot before me% t! h9 q" N7 w+ a) y
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
& ]$ r6 f1 b+ t, S  p, r$ i' _There was only on set of footprints.
+ C' O  W, V; Y0 U! E: K7 m. v+ WI realized that this was at the lowest ( ?9 E. s' ~0 c8 b# G
and saddest times in my life.
( M. b2 x! n! }% r: U( S8 BThis always bothered me
; r  c5 e; H; a6 B9 D7 Cand I questioned the Lord6 @, k9 `. y$ t( p0 W
about my dilemma.
0 [; h( \6 r) ^0 {2 C7 X"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,% x+ d" u4 a# l# T/ @7 d
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
, u7 X8 \4 f9 {8 a# m, q5 \# JBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome / X, S' u  V; I+ {- B! K
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
% y3 n3 M/ v8 |" C8 e0 Y) q5 ]I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
9 w+ I# B9 Z' z- ^you leave me."- N, ?' U" d/ K3 ^1 r
